When Women Remember
A Four Day Journey Home To You
A LIVING CEREMONIAL PRAYER FOR WOMEN
8th - 12th JULY, 2027
Our Gathering.
For EONS of time, women have gathered in circle, in devotion, in song and in grief, in right relationship with the land, with ourselves and with one another. And for so many years, particularly in the Western world, we have lost this way. The Great Goddess Gathering is a homecoming to these ancient ways, woven with the newness that is birthing through us as we call in a new dawn. A time when we remember that unity is our birthright and that women need women. In ancient times, at every threshold of birth, life and death, women came together to sing, to pray, to wail, to feel, to reflect and to tend to the altars of life itself. This is the heart of our gathering. A space where all of you is welcome. A space where you get to choose. Perhaps you need five days of deep rest and receiving. Perhaps alchemy and transformation are beckoning you. However your journey may be shaped, we are there as a collective to witness, honour and hold you in your own becoming.

W H Y WO M E N R E T U R N
The Great Goddess Gathering is more than a festival. It is a circle, a prayer, a living sanctuary of possibility. A place of integrity, joy and alchemy, where the feminine leads with humility, every voice is honoured, and together we remember a more beautiful way of being.

The Land
Remembers.
For centuries, Wales has been known as the Land of the Dragon. Long before dragons became creatures of fantasy, they were understood as symbols of life force, guardianship and awakening. Across Celtic traditions, the dragon represented the living intelligence of the Earth, the unseen currents that flow through mountains, rivers and sacred places. Each year, we gather beside the River Dee, where the goddess Aerfen has long flowed through Welsh story and memory. Together, the land, the river and the ancient myths create a place where ceremony feels less like performance and more like remembrance.
In other wisdom traditions, this same current is known as Kundalini, the dormant life force said to rest within every human being, waiting to awaken. Though these stories arise from different cultures, they point towards a shared understanding that awakening is not about becoming someone new, but remembering what has always lived within us. Perhaps this is why so many women return to this land, year after year. Not simply because of the gathering itself, but because something here calls them home.

Meet The Founder
Aimée Lea
Aimée Lea is the founder of The Great Goddess Gathering, a Creatrix, Womb & Voice Alchemist, Sound Doula and singer-songwriter devoted to supporting women in remembering the untamed wisdom and authentic power that lives within them. Specialising in the Sacred Feminine Arts, Voice Activation and Womb Awakening, she is also an experienced Yoga and Mindfulness teacher who has guided women throughout the UK, Europe and South East Asia. Alongside this work, Aimée leads transformational retreats across Europe, Bali and worldwide, and facilitates trainings in women’s leadership, supporting women to step more fully into their unique expression, leadership and service. The Great Goddess Gathering was never created from a concept or a trend. It was born through lived experience. Its roots reach into founder Aimee Lea Frances’ own twenty-year journey through disconnection, physical dis-ease, a profound dark night of the soul, and ultimately, the long alchemical road home to her body, her voice, her purpose and to sisterhood.
For many years, Aimee’s relationship with women was shaped by experiences that had taught her to look over her shoulder rather than feel safe within the circle. At the same time, a deeply painful journey with her own womb propelled her into an exploration of the feminine, the body, healing, shadow, voice and the ancient ways women have gathered and supported one another for generations. And somewhere within that darkness, she began discovering the jewels.
That women need women. That sisterhood is not a spiritual trend. It is an ancient technology and a birthright. That true sisterhood is not about pretending everything is love and light. It asks us to meet our shadows, have the uncomfortable conversations, take responsibility for what we bring into relationship, and learn to remain present with one another rather than returning to old patterns of separation. It was through this alchemy that Aimee began creating the spaces she once needed herself. Spaces safe enough for women to unfurl. To reveal themselves. To receive. To be held, heard, witnessed and respected by other women. To reclaim their voices and remember that it is safe to shine. This lived journey is woven into the foundations of the Great Goddess Gathering. It is why we choose depth over performance. Embodiment over spiritual hierarchy. Relationship over separation. And truth over superficiality. We believe that when women are willing to meet themselves and one another in this way, we begin creating something far greater than an event.
We begin creating new ways of being together.Ways in which our communities can thrive. Our relationships can thrive. Our service can thrive. And our relationship with this beautiful Earth can begin to heal. The Great Goddess Gathering is one of the greatest jewels Aimee found within her own darkness. A living reminder that what once brought us to our knees can sometimes become the very ground from which our purpose grows. And that none of us were ever meant to walk this path alone.
One Journey.
One Tapestry.
Everything Included.
There is something that makes the Great Goddess Gathering profoundly different. We do not create multiple stages, competing programmes or separate journeys happening simultaneously across the land.s. Instead, the entire gathering is woven as one collective shamanic journey, intricately woven from beginning to end, where we move together through the many waves of transformation, expression, remembrance, celebration and becoming. There is something incredibly powerful about this. Rathear than constantly choosing where to be, what to attend or which experience to pay extra for, you are invited to surrender into the journey itself. To witness and be witnessed. To move through the thresholds together. To allow each ceremony, offering, performance and prayer to become another thread in the tapestry we are weaving as a collective.
Our intention is that every woman has access to the whole journey. There are no additional charges for ceremonies or offerings, and no hierarchy of experience based upon what you can afford once you arrive. Your ticket even includes full access to Sacred Self Sauna, lovingly held by our dear sister Steph Deacon. At many festivals, a sauna pass alone can cost around £55. At the Great Goddess Gathering, we want these spaces of restoration to be woven into your experience. Somewhere you can nurture your body, integrate what is moving, soften, unpack and unfold between the deeper moments of the journey. The same is true of our ceremonies.
You will not be asked to pay additional fees to sit with the extraordinary ceremonial leaders, artists and facilitators we bring together. Everything within the programme is included within your ticket, with the exception of your meals. Because this gathering is built upon an essence of togetherness. Every sister becomes a thread within a living tapestry of healing, alchemy and transformation. We witness one another through the loving eyes of sisterhood. We sing together. We grieve together. We celebrate together. We remember together. And through this collective prayer, something reaches far beyond us.
Into the land beneath our feet.
Into the waters.
Into the sky.
Into the world we are choosing to create.
Our facilitators, artists and ceremonial leaders are chosen with great care. These are women who endeavour to walk the prayer of what they speak. Women carrying integrity, humility and lived embodiment. Women who are fundamental changemakers for this time and who are willing to dissolve outdated paradigms of spiritual hierarchy, performance and separation. Women who do not wish to stand above the circle, but to become part of it. Because the Great Goddess Gathering is not about following another woman’s prayer. It is about creating the conditions in which each of us can remember our own.
